interactive physical system with shape memory alloy
Interactive facade system with the use of shape-memory alloy. The system interacts with the enviromental temperature in
a way that we can keep the temperature of a space stable in order to have a healthy and a regulated atmosphere inside the
space of a building. An arduino board connected to an temperature and humidity sensor is capturing data and at real time
sends the data to an voltage regulator which is giving the corresponding voltage to an attached to the component shape
memory alloy and pulls the pvc triangular part of the component in order to manipulate the inside atmosphere. the component
is designed in a way that can be multipied and as a result it can cover the suface-facade that it is needed for. The design uses
cheap materials and 3d printed parts in order to be easy and affordable to use on existing buildings.
